is that about March coming in like a lion ???
Roaring like a lion ??? With a
lot of hot air???
My
lectricity went away shortly after midnight .... and my water fountain stopped working ..... and it started to get cold ..... SHE said buck up little orange dude
.... drink out of a bowl and snuggle up
.... it won't last forever ....

gosh .........
....
as a dog house (without a dog in it) blows apart and chases the screaming
running geese ..... They may never go
near a dog house again !!!!!
It
was so windy the water would blow away before filling the bucket !!!
OH
NO ..... another one of the beautiful
bradford pear trees down at the Life Center .....
We're
really lucky the leaves aren't out on the trees yet. Lots more would go down in this wind. All those leaves create a huge sail area to catch the wind and
bend the trees even more. And did you
know the leaves on a tree weigh like 500 - 1,000 pounds ??? Learned from somebody who's done brush
chipping and hauled it away by the pound !!

Oh .... I think Mouky sees a disaster
.... call a hooman .... quick !!!!!
Disaster
control shows up on the scene .....
and bark at the offending tree .....

half the staff returning from lunch ....
clear the way quick so they can get back to work !!

Mr Rooster no .... today with all that wind is NOT a good day to start mowing
..... the grass is growing fast and
soon we'll need you working hard to keep it short .... maybe some of YOU hoomans would like to come
out and help with that chore ..... Volunteers@RikkisRefuge.org

after all that hard driveway work ....

is going away for the night ...... I
hope Sun take Wind with him ....

of all ..... when sun went down ...
lectricity came back on .... and I
gotted my water fountain back !!!!
