Refuge News
Sorry to be so short today.  Somehow the day just got away.  Valerie yelled, “Vincent, we’re just about out of food, what are YOU going to do about that?”  And so come mid morning I planned just a quick trip to town.  So I hook up the extra big 6 goat cart to go pick up a special order of 90 cases of food. Get there and they say, oh yes we have your BIG order, HOW many animals do YOU have. And they roll out a cart with 9 cases .... 9 .... not 90 ..... I'm like WHERE's the rest? They say REST? Oh I thought 90 was a mistake and it really meant 9.

So I had to load up a cart with all the rest of the food they had on the shelves.  And that was only a day’s worth.  And we trekked to the next store ... and loaded up more ... then the goats got hungry and tried to pull the cart off into the grass and tipped it over ... and all by my little self, I had to pick up all those cans and load the cart back up.  And then convince the goats to go to two more stores.  Feeding all these animals is hard hard work!

Gotta get back out there and unload this cart ‘fore it gets too dark to see what I’m doing ......

Meet some of the goats who helped me today, live on Vincent’s Video!
