LITTER HELP
I’ve got to be quick this morning cuz I got to work out and get strong to get ready to unload trucks full of litter. Mom says if I use it I gotta help. ..... Hmmmm that floor is looking awfully nice ....
TODAY Wed the 25th and TOMORROW Thurs the 26th, I really really need your help. You don’t want to see me smushed under a 40 pound box of cat litter do you? Don’t make me unload the trucks all by myself - PLEASE come and help me!
TODAY Wed, the first truck could roll in around noon, or it may be a bit later. Mike can schedule when he’ll arrive at the litter packaging plant, but he can’t know how long he’ll wait in line to get loaded till it happens.
I NEED you here about noon, waiting with me for that first truck. We’ll form a fire brigade, passing the litter from the truck to our storage trailer. Please be in that line - I’m so scared if I have to fill in somebody will drop one of those boxes on me!
We’ll have to unload the first truck fast so Mike can drive back to the plant for the second load. It will be in 3 pm or later.
Tomorrow Thurs, the first truck will roll in 11 am or later and the second 2 or later - same drill !!!!

SHEAR SHEEP
April needs help shearing the sheep on Saturday morning. Starting at 8 am, need to do it before the heat of the day sets in. The sheep are elderly and need extra special love and attention. Please sign up or show up to help. It takes a couple of folks to hold the sheep gently while April clips.
PAINTERS NEEDED
Rabbit Rotunda II is so close to being done .... SO close ..... Help make it happen!!!!!
The roofing was finished last weekend!!!! Yeahhhh. Thanks to all the folks who came out and worked hard, hard HARD. Two ponds were dug and the pools set and the plumbing for draining installed. I need help filling in the ditches, not hard work, just a bit of shoveling dirt back in the hole and packing it down.
The house in the center of Rabbit Rotunda needs to be painted - inside and out - before the rabbits, guinea pigs and pigeons can occupy!!!! I know YOU can wield a paintbrush or roller!!!! Anybody out there with professional spray equipment who could do it or lend the equipment (and give me a quick lesson)? Once it’s painted for protection of the wood - then we’d love murals all over it!!!! But it needs that good solid coat of paint first - murals can be done after the animals move in.
The individual small houses will arrive next weekend and then ........ we should be ready to move in!!!! YEAHHHHHH....
Village Farm Feed and Garden Center
Village Farm Feed and Garden Center once again showed up with a truck heaping full of bags of grain and even some dog food!!!! All to give to the animals of Rikki’s Refuge. Great big huge thank you to these wonderful people.
Please show your support of Village Farm Feed and Garden Center. They’re right down the road, a great place to stop off and pick up some cat or dog food to bring out to Rikki’s. Best prices to stock up on your wild bird seed too. Please tell them Vincent sent you!
Between Route 3 and 522 when you’re coming to visit us and headed out of Fredericksburg. They’re about 10 miles away at 28284 Constitution Highway, Rhoadesville, VA 22542. If you get a chance, stop in and say, “Thank you for feeding Vincent’s Friends!” and pick up something for your critters or bird food for our wild friends, or grab a few cases of canned cat or dog food or some Fancy Feast!!!
