This
adorable dog is cut out of plywood and painted. Things like this make it so much more fun at Rikki's .... why don't YOU make some and bring 'em out

Our
friends from REACH (Reaching Educational And Career Hopes) came out to visit
!!!!
These
kids are very special to us and we love them just the way they are. They come out to love the animals, to help
with chores, and they pick up from several area donation drop off locations and
bring the donations out when they come to visit
At
Rikki's we especially love the differently abled. After all, that IS why Rikki's existed. Mom kept volunteering in the animal rescue world and kept seeing
those who don't fit society's norms left behind. She took home as many as she could. The challenged .... bit it physically, emotionally,
intellectually or just because they have a chronic health issue or they've
gotten older. They deserve just as much
love ... no matter their species.
Mom
dreamed of one day there being a special place where the differently abled and
the differently challenged could come together and live in peace and
happiness. A place where they'd be
loved. Loved just for who they
are.
And that place is Rikki's Refuge !!1
We love partnering with hooman organizations who have the same dreams and hopes for the future and who are working to make it happen every day !!!!

Around
2 pm the clouds started to clear and we saw beautiful blue sky !!!!!
And
it went up to 79 !!!!

this rain and the warm weather is greening things up Spring is certainly here
