at Rikki's Refuge
Dear
Diary, what a beautiful day it is to oversee my domain. A hike to the hill overlooking Feline Fields
to the right, with the 9th Life Center barely visible behind, Jackass Junction
to the left and Bovine Boulevard South further on to the left.
Ahhhh I love my refuge !!!! I love my planet !!!!
Ohh
the beautiful clouds against the beautiful blue sky !!!! What a wonderful planet we live on. Best one I've ever visited! How bout YOU?
Doggie
Downs .... so early nobody is awake yet
to bark at me. Lazy dawgs. Obie, if you're gonna beat me in Cats vs
Dogs to win control of the refuge in the April vote .... you better learn that the early bird gets
the worm and get that tail waggin early early every morning !!! No sleep ins for the Chief Spokes Cat ....

Life Day Rooms to my left, Chicken City to my right, Rabbit Rotunda aviary ahead
..... The birds are always early birds
.... maybe they should enter the April
campaign to be ruler of the roost ....
Hmmmm .... would YOU vote for a goose or chicken or
peacock or turkey to take my place?

The
cows have never put forward a candidate to run the refuge .... Nanny was a Spokes Goat, and a dog gone
good one too .... Where did the
expression "dog gone" come from?

the deck .... those geese and goats
seem to spend all night pooping on it ......

enough donations don't come in .....
but we really need somethin ....
Papa Doug goes out and buys it for us wif his own money .... You have no idea how many rolls of paper
towels it takes every day to keep us all nice and sanitized. Doug knows how important it is to sanitize
for our protection. \\

I
scrubbed the WHOLE deck clean ...... no help from da hoomans at all .... none
.... really ....
I
guess that about calls it day .....
.....
and time to do evening rounds and make sure everyone is happy, safe and ready
for bed.
