We just received a 12 year old, spayed female, red Doberman. She is an indoor-only house dog, well behaved and housebroken and , used to children. She is overweight and very cute! She does have a big fatty tumor on her chest but supposedly it was non-cancerous when tested three months ago (no vet records provided so ya never know). She was surrendered by her owners because she is becoming unable to hold her bladder. They did not take her to the vet (I told them about Proin, which often solves this problem, but they just wanted to get rid of her). Doberman Rescue will not take anyone over 8 years old. What in the world! The Seniors are the BEST!!! This poor girl will be here forever and the last place she needs to be is here in a kennel. Ugh! Any ideas out there?????
