at Rikki's Refuge
IT
SNOWED this morning ..... I'm gonna
find that evil weather hooman .... and I'm gonna .....
We
don't often get snow after the blossoms are all out on the trees

very happy today !!!!
However,
Chevy says, next time how about FOOD ?!?!?!?
We
are getting closer to finding our perfect Spokesdog at Rikki’s Refuge, and many
of the dogs have been interviewed. The other day Buzz stepped up to take the
test. The sweet little beagle mix was very shy at his interview, but that is
his nature.
How
did that interview go? Buzz explained why he was the best to do the job:
Buzz
knows his way around the Refuge, and has paid close attention to what he has
learned from Beauty.
Buzz
prides himself on being the cutest, nicest guard dog at Rikki’s. Can he do the
hard jobs? Well, that was another story.
Buzz
has never taken on an assignment to go to special events that help increase
funding or improve knowledge of what Rikki’s Refuge is all about. Why not? He
is too shy to face hoomans that he does not know.
Can
Buzz face a group of kids and talk about animals with different abilities? Buzz
fessed up, he is too shy to handle these types of events.
“I
am still learning about how to be a good Spokesdog, and Beauty and Wanda have
been good teachers. Maybe I will be ready by the next vote” said Buzz, who is
hoping his mentors will be selected. Buzz is an honest and loyal little guy.
That’s why we all love him!
