Good Morning Good News !!!! October 26, 2010

Good Morning Good News !!!!

Only 55 more voting days !!!! http://bit.ly/VoteVincent Rikkis Refuge
of VA, USA

Thank you everybody, planners, volunteers, donors, guests, who made the
Fall Furr Festival and Haunted Forest such a success on Saturday!!!! It
was wonderful. I had so much fun meeting so many of you and getting to
visit again with so many of you. Thank you for coming!

A great big hand to Katarina and Melissa for the hours of planning and
set up and to everyone who helped with the prep and volunteered the day
of the event. Job very well done!!!

Mommey said I better get a Good Morning out to let you know we are alive
and safe. I know we have days of e-mail to respond to and now hundreds
of phone messages. We're fine.

We're trying to save somebody's life. A poor kitty got hit by a car
Saturday night. Valerie saw it on her way home, late at night after the
Haunted Forest closed. She stopped and though he was unconscious, he
was alive. He's been lapsing in and out of restless sleep and pretty
disoriented when he's awake and walking into the walls of the cage and
banging his head. He needed 24/7 care if he's going to survive. So me
and one of the hoomans has been with him constantly, day and night.
When he's stroked he can relax enough to get some sleep. Which is what
he needs, sleep can be very healing. It's a head blow and he's on meds
for a brain injury and on heavy pain meds too. He's frightened and
disoriented. When he wakes up he thinks he's out in the road again and
tries to fight and get away. He'd hurt himself if mom or Valerie or
Lena weren't there to hold him. Three days is the real critical time.
If he makes it thru tonight, he's got a really good chance of recovery.
Finally this morning about 5 am he fell asleep in a normal curled up
kitty position for the first time. That's real good to have normal
reactions. Please pray for him and keep your fingers crossed!!!

I have three very important events coming up!!!

been chasing hot young things and lost my leg in an accident.

Vincent

of you have said you only want Hairballs with out the Good News!!
That's ok! Just tell me. I'm here to make you happy, just tell me how!
If Good New don't make you happy - I could always start Bad News, but,
