Can someone tell me if this is for real? Is Kerry really in jail for non-payment? And are creditors actually taking action to auction off the land?
It's exceedingly difficult to tell from this blog entry AND the e-newsletter I just received whether the situation is genuine - the picture in particular, leads me to believe this is fictional.
I support Rikki's, and if there is a serious situation at hand I would go out of my way to spread the word and help.
But at this point, since I'm not sure whether this is the usual 'we need everything including $' message (which is a valid plea), I am not going to risk making a fool of myself by asking others to help.
I'm trying to find out myself. I'm an active volunteer at Rikki's
Refuge and I've been worried ever since a crate of donated books were distributed to the animals. 1,207 copies of Animal Farm. I'm sure it's not my imagination that I've been noticing a lot of changes since then.
I swear I hear voices when I'm at the farm but Kerry keeps assuring me that's just the way it is out there.
I've been trying to get out to Rikki's for the last three weeks but the dogs have me barricaded in the house. They are threatening action if i don't provide t bone steak every night. They are howling that they are sick to death of kibbles and cans. My neighbors keep screaming over the
fence at me to shut up those howling dogs. But I swear it's not howling. They are talking to me.
Last week when I tried to get to Rikki's my cat had stolen my keys and gone out for a spin AGAIN. I'm so sick of this. Two months ago when he got pulled over he'd been drinking and now I've dot a DUI charge against me. I'm hoping that if I can find my cat the morning of my trial I can make him confess to the judge that it was him driving and not me.
I wanted to phone for help since my dogs have me barracaded in my house but the cats have cut the phone line. Since they like watching tv they haven't gotten the cable line and I don't think they've learned how to use my computer yet.
I started getting worried several years ago when Kerry thought it was funny to teach her animals to use the computer, to type and to impersonate her voice on the phone. Now I fear it has lead to real disaster.
I'm trying to get a message thru to the Refuge but all I have is e-mail and all I get back is responses from Nanny T. Goat to bring oreos and she might trade for information.
I think the best thing to do would be to just send $6,782.47 via PayPal immediately. Nanny has promised me that she'll make arrangements to get Kerry back.
Please. I was going to do it but the cat stole my credit
card. Not the one that has my car but the little tortie girl this time.
I know it was her in my purse since I found a lite grey hair.
Alright, based on the nonsense from 'Anonymous' (along with the newsletter and website stupidity), I'm going to remove my name from Rikki's mailing list and let my animal supporting friends know that Rikki's is no longer an animal org where our financial support should go.
Obnoxious lunacy doesn't really suit a serious animal org.
I did NOT ask if a goat had really written the e-newsletter. I ASKED if Kerry was incarcerated.
... and if we couldn't laugh, we'd all go insane .....
