Melissa writes in:

Hi All! I just received a phone call from the Petsmart in Central Park.
They have had no other rescue groups contact them about doing pictures
with Santa, so they have offered us the other 2 dates! That means that
we will be there for all 3 weekends! So, I need a bit more help. Here
is what I need:

Saturday, Dec. 4 -- someone to be Santa, and 1 extra person

Saturday, Dec. 11 -- someone to be Santa

Sunday, Dec. 19 -- 3 people, which includes 1 person to be Santa, 1
person to take the pictures, and 1 person to run the printer. I'll be
there, so I can be an extra, or take one of the jobs. I just don't think
that I would make a convincing Santa.

Petsmart supplies everything except for the people. They have the Santa
suit, camera, printer, frames, etc. If you are interested in helping,
please let me know asap. This is a great opportunity to raise some
money for the animals!

Melissa Felts dogslife24@comcast.net

This program can make $300-$500 a day for the animals of Rikki's - so
PLEASE come on out and help. Contact Melissa TODAY!!!! It takes all of
us working together to save the animals!!!

See ya all tomorrow!!!!

Vincent

Good Morning Good News !!!! November 22, 2010

Good Morning Good News !!!!

Mommey says the goodest news of all was the absolutely wonderful and
endless nums at Mariza's Thanksgiving Dinner yesterday. She says more
good news was seeing all the wonderful friends who came. Having
relaxing "down" time at the one event a year she's just a guest and
getting to visit with friends she doesn't get to see much.

Thank you Mariza for feeding mommey and daddy and all my friends. And
thank you all who came and ate vegetarian nums instead of my friends!

So this is the week. A very important week. Each week the shelter with
the mostest votes instantly wins $1,000. If we win this week - and we
will cuz my HEROES are gonna help me - we'll have that check for $1,000
by the first week in December and it's gonna help so much!

All you have to do is VOTE! Every day. And ask all your friends to be
extra careful and not to miss a day from now thru Sunday!

You can do it - I know you can!!!!

Time to take a break and do a little reading? Well yesterday you got
Reflections in your virtual mailbox and read the back page, now unfold

Tractor Supply could be called Kitty Supply cus they have as much stuff
for me as they do for tractors. So if you're the lucky winner, it'd be
real nice if you sent me the gift card!!!! But if you need it for your
critters, I understand! I want all my friends to be winners.

When God Made Cats
by Fancy Scott

When God made the world, He chose to put animals in it, and decided to
give each whatever it wanted. All the animals formed a long line before
His throne, and the cat quietly went to the end of the line. To the
elephant and the bear He gave strength, to the rabbit and the deer,
swiftness; to the owl, the ability to see at night, to the birds and the
butterflies, great beauty; to the fox, cunning; to the monkey,
intelligence; to the dog, loyalty; to the lion, courage; to the otter,
playfulness. And all these were things the animals begged of God. At
last he came to the end of the line, and there sat the little cat,
waiting patiently. "What will YOU have?" God asked the cat.

The cat shrugged modestly. "Oh, whatever scraps you have left over. I
don't mind."

But I'm God. I have everything left over."

"Then I'll have a little of everything, please" said the Cat.

And God gave a great shout of laughter at the cleverness of this small
animal, and gave the cat everything she asked for, adding grace and
elegance and, only for her, a gentle purr that would always attract
humans and assure her a warm and comfortable home.

Well, I'm gonna go do what us kitties do best! Have a snack, wash my
face, and sleep in the sun! Seez you all later. You all don't forget
to vote and help me win $1,000 this week now!!!

Thanks, and I love you,

Good Morning Good News !!!! November 21, 2010

Good Morning Good News !!!!

And do I ever have good news!!!! Pretend like you've just walked out to
your mailbox .... open the door ... and LOOK ... the latest edition of
Reflections just arrived. Pull it out - open your attachment - and here
you are!!! Some fun reading ahead about what's been happening at
Rikki's in 2010. I won't overwhelm you - just one page for today.
You'll get one tomorrow too ... Hope you can wait ...

I'm so happy it's finished at last. My paws are sore from working day
and night!!! Transferred to the printer last night and I sure hope the
files are all ok and just right. Keep your paws crossed! Since you're
my special people I though you'd like to see the pretty color pictures,
since it only gets printed in b/w.

I mean no there's nothing wrong with black and white you know. I'm
black and white and proud of it!!

Mom is really happy today. It's Be Kind To Animals Thanksgiving at
Mariza's house. Nummy nummy nums all vegetarian and vegan, and she's
gonna eat and eat and eat. She's got to eat enough to last till August
14th. That's when the Open House that Larry cooks vegetarian bbq and
delicious nums is. Poor mom, she's not happy with just a can of fancy
feast. And they call us finicky!

This is a fabulous video! If you don't get the goats, scroll down and
click on Living Lawn Mowers. I can't find an exact link to it.
http://purinaanimalallstars.yahoo.com/

So I've got some questions for you? How can they possibly transport
them in an open truck? Our goats would climb on top of the cab and jump
off. Why do they call it LAWN mowing when they only eat everything
else. The last scene of what's left after three days should a must
watch for anyone wanting goats to do their lawn care!!!!

Oh my we aren't going to forget to vote are we?
http://bit.ly/VoteVincent Rikkis Refuge VA USA

Only 29 more days to vote !!!! Woooo Weeee. Can you all please please
vote every day this Monday thru Sunday and get everybody to? If we can
really step it up we can win $1,000 for the most votes in a week.
Remember, we won that in the last contest. We can do it now. Please
help me. I rally need that $1,000 to help mom pay the bills. I keep
having to go to the doc to get my nose and ears worked on. Mom is
starting to call me her Million Dollar Baby.

The second truck of litter arrived safely on Friday. No stuck in mud!!
Great big huge thank you to Mike who worked so hard and had to
scramble so quick to get it together.

Well I'm gonna go eat and wait for it to warm up a bit and spend the day
out in my Day Room. I'm loving these beautiful sunny fall days. Mmmmm
love the sun. And the Fancy Feast!

And most of all, I love YOU,

Vincent

Well, so the first litter truck came yesterday. The trucking company
decided to assign one driver for the day, so he'd pick up the first
load, just drop it off - cuz we're keeping the trailers and renting them
for now - go back for the second, drop it off ........

And it rained. And it rained. And it rained. And it got muddier and
muddier and ......

Yup, the truck got stuck. We all worked and ended up pulling the truck
out with three vehicles. All had 4wd drive. One pick up, one suv and
one station wagon all hooked up together and pulling .... pop the big
truck got unstuck. If it hadn't a been raining mom would have got a
good video!!

And the driver said, ANOTHER trip into this swamp!!! Ha ha ha I don't
think so. But the litter had to be out of the plant right then and
there. No ifs and or buts. It had to go. So the driver said he'd just
take it home and bring it back one day after all the rain and mud had
dried up. Paws crossed .......

This time last year it would have been snow and snow and more feet of
snow. So there is some Good News here - it stayed warm and it's rain!!

Maybe there's something good about living where it's cold. We don't got
no alligators. I think they look really scary.

Mommey says today is the last day to make reservations for Sunday's pre
Thanksgiving for the Animals. See www.RikkisRefuge.org for details.
This is a time to be thankful, and to socialize. It won't be at the
refuge so mommey won't be distracted. If you've wanted to visit with
mommey and talk to her - this would be a great time to do it. When
she's here at the farm she's always busy and distracted paying attention
to us!

Not sure about the eats? Eating vegetarian or vegan means lots of
wonderful delectable and often very creative nums. Some people just
think about what they're not eating. But there's millions of delicious
things to eat that aren't animals! Here's just few of the items you may
experience on Sunday.

Good Morning Good News !!!! November 16, 2010

Good Morning Good News !!!!

You all are so awesome!!! You're always there when I need you.

Nanny and I goat carted all over Orange all day yesterday. I only found
36 pennies. I mean 36, that's real good, huh? All that work made me
kinda hungry. I mean don't you get hungry when you work? Shut up
Nanny, you got to eat grass along the way. So I stop-ed at 7/11 and I
had to beg the man to give me a can of Fancy Feast for 36 pennies.

He scream and he yell and he say, "You go, you get that goat out my
store, you stupid cat you think I give you can of Fancy Feast of only 36
pennies. What do you want? You want all my children to starve? What you
think store is? Store is place to make profit, not place to put
an-i-mel."

I just looked at him real sad and pulled in my belly so my ribs show, I
hope they showed, and said I thinks you're a very nice man and I thinks
you're kind and it's almost Christmas, well at least Thanksgiving, and
YOU want something to be thankful for, well you know what goats do?
Goats eat EVERYTHING and goats poo when they eat. And if you don't
think I'm worthy of one can of Fancy Feast let me tell you. Then I let
go of the reins and said, Nanny, eat anything you want!

And I think my sad face worked, cuz he throw can of Fancy Feast at Nanny
and he say, "You go, you get out my store, you get your goat out my
store, what you think, you think this lookes like place for an-i-mel,
you go, you go now."

So I got my can of Fancy Feast and got to keep my 36 pennies too!!!

And I getted home and I really hope all you together was able to fine
664 pennies. And you DID and you SHARED with me !!! I love you so
much!!! YOU are all my Thanksgiving is about.

Merow, I'm a kitty. I'm a good kitty. I want to be your friend! I want
to make you happy! Happy is good! I'm a happy kitty! What are you?

I need some help. Today the litter comes. Two tractor trailers. They
come about 1 pm. We don't have no pavement. They have to park on field.
Field get soggy when field get wet. Soggy field, stuck truck, mad
driver. Can you help me ask universal cat spirit to let the rain stop
now and not start back up till the trucks have safely left? Thank you!

Cats' Superior Drinking Habits Make Me Love Dogs
By JAMES GORMAN
The news reported in Science magazine last week of the exquisite timing
and elegant physics displayed by cats in their drinking habits has
reinforced once again the obvious truth that cats are superior to
sloppy-go-lucky dogs, and no doubt to people as well, at least the ones
with whom I drink water (and I include myself). And that very
superiority and elegance is yet another reason to have a dog as a pet —
if, that is, there is anything wanting in your personal eating or
housekeeping habits.

A cat it seems, draws up a column of water with the tip of its tongue
and bites off the top of the column just before it drops back (neatly,
of course) into the dish. Dogs, well, dogs slurp. I don't slurp, but I
do spill. Water, soup, ham sandwiches — I can spill anything.

Once, in a business meeting I knocked over a full glass of diet soda. My
colleague and friend, sitting right next to me, a man with whom I worked
closely every day, a cat owner, said with a very audible whisper, "I
would be sooo embarrassed." As for general neatness of the sort that
leads to respectable housekeeping, I will say only that once, in the
office, after desperately searching various nooks and crannies for what
smelled like a dead mouse, I gave up and decided to clean off the piles
of paper on my desk. Halfway down one of the tumbling stacks was a dead
mouse, apparently caught in a data avalanche.

It is true that if I had a cat in the office, the mouse would not have
been foolish enough to risk trekking across the paper mountain. But I
would have had to put up with the cat's disdain. I won't venture into
the argument over the extent of animal consciousness except to say that
I wouldn't trust anyone who doubts that cats are capable of disdain.

I'm not anti-cat. I don't share the view of another colleague that cats
are "agents of Satan." (He requested notoriety, not anonymity, but I
feel I should protect him from himself.) But I do prefer dogs because
they are more tolerant of my personal failings. If I spill soup, or a
sandwich, or, in a kind of lunch-special combo, soup and a sandwich, on
my tie or all over my lap, my dog looks at me and says (I am going to
translate her looks and tail wags), "Don't worry about it. I spill half
my bowl every time I drink."

If you have any doubts about which sort of pet is right for you, watch
the researcher's video of his cat drinking water. Observe the neatness
and precision. Drink a glass of water yourself. How do you compare? How
does that make you feel?

Then watch my dog, or any other, slurp water and then look up at you
with a big happy smile as water cascades from her jowls to the floor.
Take a sip of water yourself. How do you feel now?

Pretty good, I'll bet. I rest my case.

I've scraped my pockets absolutely bare. Denise made the kind,
wonderful, most generous offer to double donations up to $2,000 so we
can get 86,000 pounds of cat litter. Two tractor trailers are scheduled
to come tomorrow. BUT the matching donations are $7 short. Can you
count that high? I can, that's half as far as I can count. I'm very
good ... I start with this toe ... Oh sorry ... back to the point.
Would you mind reaching into your pocket and see if there's a quarter or
a dime or nickel or even a penny. I need to find that $7 really quick.

I'm gonna hook up the goat cart and Nanny and me's gonna go scour
parking lots and look for lost pennies. If you can find any would you
please put there in my piggy bank http://bit.ly/BeMyHero

I sure hope I don't have to do no fundraiser for 7 million dollars to
get mommey's family back. All of her family, her daddy, her brother and
her son are on a boat and sailing around the world. I'm glad they left
her behind to take care of everybody's anifurs. We hopes they have a
nice, fun and safe journey!

We had a wonderful day yesterday. Lots of sun and fun and visitors to
hug and love! We ended up with two tours! The nature hike got a bit
off the beaten path - but they got back in before dark. All safe and
nobody was eaten by bears.

Only two more days till the litter comes !!! I need a pallet jack.
Nobody got one laying around the garage???

We're going to rent storage until we come up with a sloution for 800 sq
ft of watertight space. Ideas welcome!

Denise Halderman made an awesome offer!!! Her Dad passed away in May.
He always was a big supporter of anything to do with animals and she'd
always meant to bring him up to Rikki's Refuge but time ran out. And now
in honor of her Dad, she's challenging all the rest of the Rikki's
supporters out there to donate towards the cat litter storage. All
donations up to $2,000.00 she will match. Her Dad would have loved this.

We're almost there - only a few hundred shy of telling Denise we made
her $2,000 challenge! If you can toss in a few bucks to help us reach
the challenge we'll be forever indebted.

Do it's double your dollar time !!!!

Double your Donation for Denise's Dad !!!

$2,000) will be doubled in honor of Denise's Dad !!!

Pumpkins still at Meadows Farm rt 3 Spotsylvania! Go pumpkin people GO
!!! Can't you find any anywhere. Somebody brought some home to their
house in Gordonsville and need them picked up from there and brought to
Rikki's. Only a car full - let me know if YOU can do it!!!

Ask for Mike at Meadow Farms - he's keeping the pumpkins in the back for
us - so don't assume they're gone if you don't see any. Also the corn
stalks.

And any place with gourds, corn, indian corn, corn stalks, hay, straw.
We use it all.

See any stands with pumpkins left? They're waiting for you to bring out
for the pigs and goat and sheep and cows and rabbits and guinea pigs and
chickens. Everybody loves pumpkins. Delicious and healthy. And every
day we have enough to feed saves us about $30. So haul in the pumpkins!!!!

And the Fancy Feast !!!

Today is tour time! Yippee NOON tour - about two hours, all outside, so
dress for the weather. That means layers, cuz it goes from hot to cold
quick this time of year. One can of cat food admission per person.
Gates open at 11:30 am.

2 pm is the Nature Hike. Wear blaze orange. Admission is one case of
cat food. It's several miles over pristine trails, blazed by the deer.
Good footwear!

Today Bob is coming out with 14 round bales of hay - DONATED !!!!!

Tom got the railroad ties donated to set the kitty litter trailers on.

If not be quick to adopt. It's very healthy to have a multi species

I need a gift that I can't eat. Bummer, I hate asking for those!

A pallet jack. If you don't have one you can donate then can we borrow
it for the next 10 months - or any portion there of - while we use up
our kitty litter that will be delivered Tuesday. We will need to move
the pallets about in the trailer to load into our pickup and haul to
Feline Fields! We need a hydraulic lift type and not electric. The
electrics are way to heavy to lift in the trailers and they require
charging and we don't have electricity near the trailers.

I also need YOU to put on your thinking cap to figure out how to get 800
sq ft of storage at the refuge. Permanent storage. We're renting two
trailers - like tractor trailers - for now. It'd be better to put that
money to use buying something so we have it for next time. Think think
think ask ask ask - there must be a solution. A little birdie told me
Melissa might have the answer, keep paws crossed!

Bee Brains Can Outsmart Computers
A new study shows that bees are experts at solving the "traveling
salesman" problem.
True, they can brew delicious honey, create amazing hives, and, if
you're not careful, give you a whopper of a sting—but those aren't the
only talents that bees have. According to a new study from University of
London, the tiny insects can solve complex math problems that a computer
would take days to crank out.

Bees are experts at the "traveling salesman problem," says Dr. Nigel
Raine, since they are able to simply work out the most efficient route
to pollinate all the flowers in their path. "They visit flowers at
multiple locations and, because bees use lots of energy to fly, they
find a route which keeps flying to a minimum."

Raine and his team tested a group of bees' true intellect by setting up
a group of computer-controlled artificial flowers for bees to explore.
He wanted to see if the bees would simply fly to each flower in the
order that they discovered them, or if they would quickly deduce the
quickest and most efficient path from one to the next. Sure enough, as
soon as they had discovered all of the flowers, they'd created a far
quicker route.

Given that bees have brains no bigger than grass seeds, it's a

Showing just what Try Try Try Again can really do!!!!
Dan Cummings, who was paralyzed in an accident, just walked a mile to
support his non-profit Journey Forward. A decade ago, Boston man Dan
Cummings broke his neck in a diving accident. He lost the use of his
arms and legs, and was told that he would never walk again.

But he didn't believe it. He decided to move to California, where he
could take part in an intense physical therapy regime with a program
called Project Walk, which uses standing-frame therapies, electrical
stimulation, and other innovative methods to help patients regain their
motor skills. And, after four years, his exercise regime had begun to
work: he returned home to Boston, walking with the help of a walker.
Cummings' friends and relatives were amazed by the transformation that
Project Walk had made in him—and now that Cummings was walking, he had a
new resolution.

"I had a new goal to bring that program back to Boston so others
wouldn't have to move 3,000 miles away to find a place that would help
them walk," he told the Boston Herald. So two years ago, Cummings
founded a non-profit physical therapy center in his hometown, called
Journey Forward. Now, the center has five full-time specialists and 33
clients, including Matt Brown, a paralyzed teenage athlete who had
regained the ability to move his feet thanks to his sessions there.

And on Saturday, Cummings showed how far he had come in a fundraising
walk for his organization. Using his walker, he walked a full mile—and
helped to raise $75,000 in donations for Journey Forward. "Physically,
I'm beat," Cummings said after the walk, "but emotionally I feel like
I'm flying."

Good Morning Good News !!!! November 4, 2010

Good Morning Good News !!!!

My planet is wet and soggy today! How's yours? I think the trees and
the grass and all the plants are very happy. They've been very thirsty
for a long time. I wouldn't like it if I didn't get water every day.
Unless of course I got tuna juice!

Thank you for voting for me every day. It's really nice of you!! It
makes me feel so good to know I have so many friends. I'm still leading
Virginia. And I'm still 6th in the nation. But I'm losing ground, the
percentage of the votes I'm carrying is sliding d..o..w..n ....

Let's pull together and reverse this!! And let's win most votes in the
week this coming week - remember we did that last contest and we haven't
done it this one yet.

It's an all out battle - vote vote vote, ask everybody to vote, let's
have the most number this week and win that $1,000 !!!

YEAH Vincent's Voters !!!! I love my HEROES !!!!!

http://bit.ly/VoteVincent Rikkis Refuge of VA, USA

At Rikki's Refuge we never do things in a small way!! No way !!!! We
make happy news all day, every day!! And that brings more and more
happy news to us!!!

Mike got a call from the litter packaging plant - 47 pallets, 86,000
pounds, 40 week supply - donated - FREE !!!!! Yippee Yippee - Happy
Dance !!!

I was so excited I ran right out to hook up the goat cart. Nanny
wouldn't stand still. I was telling her to hurry hurry cuz we had to
haul it all out of the plant within two weeks and she had a lot of
trotting to do. She laid down. She wouldn't get up. She said now if
it was 86,000 pounds of oreos .....

So I was in a real dilemma. Taco and me thought about stealing mom's
truck ...
http://www.flickr.com/photos/rikkis_refuge/4132899817/
.... but it's kinda a little truck and wez get scared driving on the
big highway. The bad state police might arrest us. Here in Orange they
just send the nice lady from animal control to make us go home. But
what if we gotted arrested in the big city and they put is in the pound?

Mike and Melissa and John are going to rent big trucks BUT they need
four trucks. They can rent four but they need a driver! That truck is
too big for me. It's a 24' Budget Box Truck - would you drive?

Melissa is the lady who hauled in all the litter when we got a whole
rail road car donated way back in 2001. She's a BIG truck driver. Back
then she was driving for Anheuser-Busch and picking up corn at the rail
road station and hauling it over and then hauling the left over mash to
a pig farm. Too bad that wasn't Rikki's!! They let her borrow a
company truck and haul the litter.

The people she's working for now aren't as nice. BUT Melissa and her
husband John are going to rent trucks along with Mike I just NEED ONE
MORE DRIVER.

AND I NEED YOUR HELP TOO - EVEN IF YOU DON'T DRIVE when we know the day
it's coming I need EVERYBODY to come help us unload!! It's gonna be a
great big huge delivery!!! And I NEED you. Please tell me if you'll
help me?

Please let me know
Can you drive a 24' box truck, on day during the week?

Will you come to Rikki's to help unload?

I keep forgetting to show you these wonderful pictures!

them on the calendar!!!! Then she'll tell you how to get one!!!!

How come you hooman's make it so much harder to vote than I do? I let
you vote sitting right there in front of your computer, nothing but
click, click, click, and it's all done! And what do you do? You make
the humans go out in the cold, drive somewhere, stand in line in the
cold, and vote. And which one of you hooman's decided that people ought
to vote one of the first few days it really gets cold around here? I
mean, come on, you all ARE smart enough, aren't you, to know that it's
always going to be cold the first week of November?

So, I think that should be enough of a campaign argument, to vote for
Vincent! Be sure you check your ballot closely, Vincent D. Cat is the
guy for you! And if I'm not on the ballot in your area, make sure you
run for any cat voting. You want to see this planet run right? Put us
cats in charge! There's just no other way to do it!

Rowan is a Cool Dog with a Specialty
Rowan, a German Spitz dog, can run, play, and come when called, just
like the rest of his canine family – but when admirers get a close-up
glimpse of him, they've always got one question for his owner, Sam
Orchard: "Why does he have his eyes closed?" Actually, he doesn't:
Rowan was born without any eyes, due to a genetic defect. "People told
me that I should think about putting him to sleep but I just couldn't
bring myself to do it," Orchard told SWNS.

Rowan, now 18 months old, has learned to adapt perfectly to life with no
sight – and, instead of a walking cane, he uses his bark to help him get
around. Much like bats, Rowan uses the technique of echolocation,
listening for the echo of his voice to help him ground himself in his
surroundings. "He barks to judge the lay of the land and then when I
call his name he knows exactly where I am and comes running," Orchard
said. "He's just amazing. He's so independent and he has a really good
life. He's just like one of the other dogs."

Check out Rowan in action for yourself.

Here's some interesting and unusual friends of mine from around the world.
http://www.bing.com/travel/content/search?q=Weird+Animals%3a+Aye-aye&FORM=RQTRAV

Cats can make owners happier, healthier and gentler
Why do 33% of the households in the USA have cats? And how do you
explain why there are 16 million more pet cats than dogs?

Yes, kittens are adorable. Yes, they can grow up to be good mousers and
are very entertaining to watch. And yes, cats are independent and don't
require as much care as dogs. But research shows cats can also be
caretakers for us and our families, improve our health and teach us and
our children to be kinder, gentler souls.

Theodora Wesselman is 94 and has lived the past two years with her
elderly cat, Cleo, at TigerPlace, a retirement community in Columbia,
Mo. Their enduring friendship is a classic example of how humans and
animals can become family and look out for each other. Wesselman visits
other residents, and her children stop by, but Cleo is her best friend,
she says. They've been together nearly 21 years. They start and end the
day together. "She sleeps on her own pillow right beside mine,"
Wesselman says. "In the morning, she pecks on my cheek to wake me up.
It's really sweet. I pet her, tell her I love her and take her to the
kitchen to prepare her food." Cleo and Wesselman "live for each other.
I really think they keep each other going," says Mary Kay Swanson, a
TigerPlace employee. (yeahhh to the assisted living and retirement
centers who allow people to keep their best friends!)

Research shows that being able to care for a pet improves our morale,
helps validate us and encourages us to take care of ourselves, says
Rebecca Johnson, director of the University of Missouri's Research
Center for Human-Animal Interaction. The body of research is leading
more retirement communities and universities to roll out the welcome mat
for pets.

Is one pet better for you than another? A cat can't make you healthier
by begging with leash in mouth to go out for a jog, but a purr can lower
blood pressure and quiet a stressed-out brain, research shows. (You see
how unstressed mommy is with all of us right?)

And they insist on compassion. They're enforcers, Johnson says. "A dog
will let you bang it on the head and still love you. A cat won't do
that. Children have to learn to be gentle to cats or the cat will go
away." Some parents welcome feline help reinforcing values during
child-rearing, and the cats become an integral part of the family.

come back. His hearing seems to be quite good. So keep those paws and
toes crossed.

Little leukemia kitty Yetti got adopted yesterday!!! Yippie ya hooooo !!!!!

Barbara brought three kittens by from mom to see how old they were and
if they could go to the speuter clinic next week, they can, and somebody
adopted them!

These are the best treats of all !!!!

My little sisfur Pebbles was a rooster and Nanny Goat was a squirrel for
trick-or-treat. Pictures later, mom's got an appointment and can't
download the camera now.

Hope you all had a fabulous Halloween, stay warm, remember I always love
you, and I'll see you tomorrow!

love,
Vincent

PS If you don't want your Daily Good News, just let me know! A couple
of you have said you only want Hairballs with out the Good News!!
That's ok! Just tell me. I'm here to make you happy, just tell me how!
If Good New don't make you happy - I could always start Bad News, but,
as you hoomans say, why reinvent the wheel - that's what you've got tv
and newspapers for !!!!!
