Come join the fun and tour Rikki’s Refuge during the Halloween Open House on October 15 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Come decked out in your Halloween Costume! Interact with the 18 species of animals ranging from chukars to emus. There will be tours every half-hour, refreshments and a surprise gift for every child! Admission is a can(s) of cat or dog food.
Refuge is located on Route 20, 2.5 miles south of Route 522 in Orange, Virginia. Watch for the sign at the end of our driveway. BONUS: get a head start on your holiday shopping! Visit the Gift Shop at Rikki’s for fine handmade craft and other unique items. The Purrr-fect place to shop for you animal loving friends!
PS: We’re sorry, but we must ask that you leave your pets at home. Our resident animals get upset when they have non-human visitors. Watch for special events for you and your pets!
VOLUNTEER WORK PARTY: Join Jason working on all kinds of Rikki’s Projects. 10 am till dark. If you’ve always wanted to take a tour and volunteer here’s a great opportunity.
